A field guide, not a studio portfolio
jumbiteammeter.art is an independent information site for community organizers, facilitators and creative teams. Our guides connect creative prompts to permissions, materials, access, division of work and long-term care.
We do not present illustrative scenarios as projects we have delivered. The home-page mural story is a worked planning example. Images support the editorial subject and should not be read as evidence that the people pictured participated in a project run by this website.
Shared authorship has practical consequences
If a group can make marks but cannot influence meaningful choices, the process has limited shared authority. That may be appropriate for some activities, but it should be described honestly. We favor clear boundaries over vague promises of empowerment.
We also recognize the work that does not appear in the final photograph: preparing tools, interpreting instructions, identifying an access barrier and returning a room to use. A stronger project makes those contributions visible and valued.
Use the guides critically
Our material is general educational guidance. Local laws, site conditions and individual needs differ. Public structures, hazardous materials, safeguarding and legal rights can require qualified advice that a website cannot provide.
External organizations, artists, publications and standards are referenced for context. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. A reference is an invitation to further study, not a claim that another organization approves our methods.
